Oprah Winfrey continues to give back. Over the weekend, the 65-year-old media mogul, shocked attendees at a North Carolina fundraiser when she announced that she was contributing a significant amount, $1 million, toward the United Negro College Fund.
She made the surprise announcement while speaking at Charlotte’s 17th annual Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Luncheon.
