T.I. Says If Presidential Election Was Tomorrow, Bernie Sanders Is ‘The Only Person Who Has A Chance’ To Beat Donald Trump, Wants Andrew Gillum To Be His Running Mate
More than 10 Democratic candidates have officially put their hat in the ring for President. But T.I. said there’s only person he’s convinced could win, at least right now. He said Bernie Sanders is that person in an interview earlier this week,
“If the election was tomorrow, the only person I think that really, really has a chance to beat him is Bernie. He has a strong base, he has strong positions, strong views, he’s the antithesis of Donald Trump.”

As for his running mate, T.I. said the best candidate would be former Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum, who made waves when he ran for Florida governor last year and lost by less than half a percent. T.I. said,
“[Bernie] has to have a strong Vice President because of his age and his health scare. His Vice President is important. I think Bernie and Andrew Gillum, that’s a ticket that I think could beat Donald Trump.”

Meanwhile, it likes like Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren is one step ahead. She and her team were reportedly in talks with Gillum earlier this month.

But her team shut that down with a quickness.
“That is baseless and not at all true.”
Do you think Andrew Gillum should be on the ballot as a VP? Tell us in the comments.
