Khalil Mack Reportedly Pays For $80K Worth of Layaway Gifts From Hometown Walmart
NFL player Khalil Mack took a moment to spread some holiday cheer around his hometown. The Chicago Bears linebacker paid off more than 300 layaway accounts at a Fort Pierce, FL Walmart, according to Walmart spokesperson, Jeremy Mikula. Reports say the Khalil Mack Foundation paid roughly $80,000 to cover the accounts.
On Saturday (Dec. 7), the Fort Pierce Walmart announced on its Facebook page that Mack had paid off all active holiday layaway accounts at the store!
“We have some wonderful News! If you have an active Holiday Layaway account at your local Ft. Pierce Wal-Mart, you account has been paid off!
We here at Walmart would like to thank the Khalil Mack Foundation for your generosity, and for making so many families happy for the holidays! Everyone is truly greatful for everything you have done for them!”

The 28-year-old football star is known for his generous efforts. Back in June, Khalil Mack donated 100 pairs of cleats to his former high school’s, Fort Pierce Westwood, football team.

Originally a first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders back in 2014, Mack spent four seasons with Oakland prior to being traded in 2018.
During this span of time, he was viewed as one of the most dominant defenders in the league while racking up two All-Pro nominations and three appearances in the Pro Bowl.
