Denver Broncos’ Drew Lock Rapping to Jeezy Goes Viral

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock was seen turning up to RAPPER Jeezy on the bench on Sunday (Dec. 29th). The Broncos were playing the Oakland Raiders. In a video that immediately went viral, Drew Lock appeared to be lip-syncing along to the Atlanta rapper’s Grammy-nominated hit “Put On”, with the stadium at Empower Field at Mile High stadium.

It looks like the 2008 hit helped the NFL star out quite a bit. He led the Broncos to a 16-15 win over the Raiders, improving the team to 7-9 to finish out the season. Lock was 17-for-28 with 177 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Andrew Beck. After their victory, Lock told reporters he was rapping to Jeezy’s track inside the stadium. He says,

“I was spitting it, though. Overall, the last five games, I thought my audition went really well.”

Soon after, Jeezy took to Instagram to give Lock a shoutout to rocking to his music during the team’s victory.

“I know the feeling…. Thug Motivation. #KeepingGoing”
