Meek Mill Explains Why He Regularly Takes Breaks From Social Media: This Is A Fun Imaginary World With A Lot Of Cap & False Views

In a day where the world is full of likes, viral memes, and subliminal messages on every social media platform, rapper Meek Mill reveals how he deals with social media.

In a tweet Monday (Jan. 6), Meek Mill says he takes random breaks by logging off social media to enjoy the real world, calling much of what followers see online fake news.

“Some people deeply caught up in social media and don’t even know they sick on this sh*t 24/7, this is a fun imaginary world with a lot of cap and false views of people real lives…but it’s being taken more serious than actual reality..you gotta check out off this jaw sometimes.”

He adds,

“That’s why I turn mines off sometimes …. I be watching fake life more than my real life.”

As previously reported, Meek Mill did take a short break from Instagram in November. It’s not clear what made the “Championships” rapper deactivate his account, but he seemingly took a more positive vibe on Twitter back then.

He wrote,

“I think I’m getting better at life …tryna fix a bunch of things that could never be right!”

Meek isn’t the only celebrity who’s sharing their perspective on social media.

Rapper DaBaby went on a mini-rant about social media Tuesday morning (Jan. 7).

Grammy-nominated singer, Lizzo also kicked off 2020 by quitting Twitter.

“Yeah I can’t do this Twitter sh*t no more.. too many trolls…

I’ll be back when I feel like it.”

Last month, she was blasted on social media for twerking at a Los Angeles Lakers’ game while wearing a cut-out, thong-revealing dress.
