Offset Detained By Police At Mall, Later Posts Cryptic Message: The Devil Is A Lie!
Migos rapper Offset had a close call in Los Angeles Wednesday (Jan. 29). As captured on film, Cardi B‘s husband was shopping at The Grove around 8:00 p.m. when he was allegedly reported by a mall-goer for having a gun in the parking garage. He and his entourage were, then, grabbed up by several police. This video shows him demanding a cop to let him know why he was being handcuffed:
“You gotta tell me now! That’s your job as an officer! You gotta tell me now! You ain’t told me sh*t! Why are you locking me up?”

According to TMZ, Offset and crew were released from police custody earlier today (Jan. 30) around 4 a.m. Reportedly, two other men admitted to the firearms. The “Clout” rapper called it a misunderstanding:
“Nah, it’s good. We fixed it up. It ain’t nothing. It wasn’t me. It was the wrong man…I was treated fairly. No cap!…something happened- I don’t know. It wasn’t me, though! I’m just mad it touched the media like that.”
Shortly thereafter he took to his Instagram Story to show off his jewels, and his redemption. His caption read:
“The devil is a lie I’m covered by the blood of Jesus”
