Nicki Minaj Now Ranks 5th For Most Hot 100 Hits, Takes Kanye West’s Spot

Nicki Minaj’s return has been a solid one so far!

Her newest single “Yikes” quickly ranked at No. 23 on the latest Hot 100 list, marking her 108th time she’s been on the list.

It also means she bumped Kanye West, who has 107 appearances on the Hot 100 down a slot as she replaced him for fifth place, according to Forbes.

The latest move comes after both Nicki Minaj and Kanye West were tied for the coveted top 5 slots just last week.

Interestingly enough, Nicki Minaj’s Young Money labelmate Drake is tied at #1 with the cast of Fox’s previous series “Glee.”

Both of them have 207 Hot 100 songs.

There is no second place considering the tie for first, but Young Money is staying strong as Lil Wayne is ranked number 3 with 167 Hot 100 songs after the recent success of his No. 1 album Funeral.

Elvis Presley is currently at fourth, with just one more song than Nicki Minaj, so it’s safe she could easily come for his spot too.

Along with the top 6, Jay-Z is the only other artist who has had at least 100 songs on the Hot 100.

Nicki Minaj didn’t waste time in celebrating her success as “Yikes” made her the first female rapper to debut at #1 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

She shared the news on Instagram and wrote,

“No feature

Released 3 hours late.

No big Spotify playlists

Her “Karol G” collab with Tusa is also doing numbers on the Latin charts.

No wonder she’s been in a good mood lately. She tweeted Monday (Feb. 17),

“Love my life all 2020”
