Karrueche Tran Lashes Out Over Discrimination Against Asians Amid Coronavirus: There Are Asians Afraid To Leave Their Homes!
Karrueche Tran is speaking out after some coined the pandemic coronavirus “The Chinese Virus.”
President Donald Trump shamelessly uses the controversial term and even defended it Tuesday (March 18).
He said during a press conference,
“Cause it comes from China. It’s not racist at all. Not at all. It comes from China. That’s why. I wanna be accurate.”
“I have great love for all of the people from our country. But as you know, China tried to say at one point, maybe they stopped now, that it was caused by American soldiers. That can’t happen. It’s not gonna happen. Not as long as I’m president.”

An Asian journalist, Weija Jang, also said a White House official called it the “Kung Flu Virus” to her face.

Now, actress Karrueche Tran is coming against Asians being targeted amid the virus.
She wrote on Instagram,
“Xenophobia is not ok!! To target and discriminate Asians is wrong!! There are Asians afraid to leave their homes! There are people who have already been hurt (I know y’all seen the video of the older Asian man). The coronavirus is not ‘The Chinese Virus’! Lets stop instilling more fear and hate. The world is struggling enough as it is. Please stop this!!”

She added the caption,
“PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY”
