Kylie Jenner Responds To Surgeon General Asking Her To Spread Coronavirus Awareness: Please Stay Inside You Guys!
Kylie Jenner heard the plea of U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams to help spread awareness on how serious the coronavirus is.
He put out the plea during an interview with “Good Morning America’s” Michael Strahan Thursday (March 19).
He said of young people not taking directives to stay home seriously:
“I have a 15 and a 14-year-old and the more I tell them not to do something, the more they want to do it. What I really think we need to do… was get our influencers, Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell, we need to get Kylie Jenner, we need to get our social media influencers out there and helping folks understand that this is serious, people are dying.”

Reality star and billionaire entrepreneur Kylie Jenner caught wind of his ask and took to her Instagram stories to respond.
“I know I’ve already been doing my daily reminders about how important it is right now to practice social distancing and self-quarantine. I’m going on my 9th day. The coronavirus is a real thing. I listened to the surgeon general this morning, even though I’ve been doing my daily reminders, he definitely encouraged me to come on here and talk to you guys so you can see me and hear me.”
She continued,
“Please stay inside you guys. Please stay inside. Practice social distancing, self-quarantine. If you live with your parents, you don’t want to go home and get your parents sick. You might have it and not even know and be infecting other people. It’s serious, and the only way that we’re gonna slow this down is if we do this since there’s not a cure right now. Nobody’s immune to this. Millennials are not immune to this. New evidence actually shows that a lot of people in the hospital are young adults.”

She ended with,
“I love you guys, we’re gonna get through this together. We just have to listen to each other, respect other, self-quarantine, and I encourage other influencers to also speak out and encourage followers to also self-quarantine.”
