Update: Kim Kardashian Accuses Taylor Swift Of Lying As She Fires Off A Series Of Tweets, Taylor’s Publicist Responds & #KimKardashianIsOver Trends

Update #3 (March 24th): The feud between Taylor Swift and Kanye West appears to be escalating. Early Tues. (March 24th) morning, Kim Kardashian fired off a series of Tweets. See her tweets below.

Taylor Swift’s publicist Tree Paine responded to the reality star’s tweets, writing:

“I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing. P.S. who did you guys piss off to leak that video?”

Kim Kardashian’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, also chimed:

Shortly after Kim K’s tweets, #KimKardashianIsOver began trending on social media. Presumably the hashtag was started by Taylor Swift’s fanbase.

Update #2. Taylor Swift has responded with the #KanyeWestIsOverParty. She posted a story on social media. See her response below:

Original Story: Is Kanye West at risk of being cancelled…. again?

The rapper is currently trending on Twitter (March 21) after footage of a phone call between him and Taylor Swift leaked.

To take a step back, their on-again-off-again feud started more than a decade ago when he crashed the stage as she accepted the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video in 2009.

They seemed to bury the drama that came after, only to start feuding again after his song “Famous” in 2016. In that song, he raps,

“For all my Southside n***as that know me best
I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex
Why? I made that b**** famous (God damn)
I made that b**** famous”

Taylor Swift then came out and publicly took issue with the song and seemed to slam Kanye West when she accepted the Grammy award for Album of the Year.

Kanye West’s wife, Kim Kardashian West, covered the issue on E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” She claimed that Taylor Swift was “playing the victim” and that the singer agreed to the lyrics and even vowed to promote it.

Kim Kardashian West then leaked a video of Kanye and Taylor’s phone call.

But Taylor reacted and made it clear that Kanye never told her he was going to call her a “b****” in the song.

Now, footage as resurfaced, showing more of Taylor and Kanye’s conversation, possibly backing up Taylor’s claims that Kanye might not have told her the full story.

Fans have jumped to Taylor’s defense, to the point that #KanyeWestIsOverParty is trending on Twitter. See a few reactions below.
