Issa Rae’s INSECURE Has Been Renewed For A Fifth Season

INSECURE fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the HBO series has been renewed for a fifth season. Executive Producer of the series, Issa Rae, shared the news on Twitter.

Issa Rae captioned:

Grateful to officially come back for Season 5! #InsecureHBO

Insecure starring Issa Rae as Issa Dee is about a black woman who has a hard time navigating the difficult personal and professional side of Los Angeles, CA, with her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji).

The series is currently airing Season 4 on HBO. Viewers can tune into the new episodes every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.

Issa recently responded to fans who wanted Insecure episodes to be longer than 30-minutes. For those who wonder why Issa hasn’t made this so, she responded:

“I Don’t Know What To Tell You”

Yvonne Orji, who plays Issa’s BFF on the show, was also excited about the news.
