Mom Leaves Son In Jail After He’s Arrested For Disobeying Quarantine Orders During Trip To Hawaii: I Told Him Not To Go!
A Bronx mom, Marcia Peters, shows no sympathy for her son Tarique Peters after he was arrested for not following the mandatory 14-day quarantine orders after traveling to Hawaii. His mother said, according to the NYPost:
“He had no business going there.”
She continued,
“The rules are all over. I told him not to travel. I told him not to go. I told him to cancel all his vacation (plans) because he knows what’s going on in America and all over.”
Tarique is said to “do what’s right” in his day-to-day life. He’s even seen wearing a mask in what seems to be New York.
After posing for photos along the beaches and hotels of Hawaii and posting to Instagram, Tarique was arrested by agents of the Hawaii attorney general’s office and charged with violating the state’s strict rules that enforce mandatory quarantine for tourists upon arrival.

Tarique Peters was being held on $4,000 bail where his mother seemingly left him in jail to cool off. She said,
“Where am I going to get $4,000 from? I don’t know that he has $4,000. He ain’t rich like that. We gonna have to work something out.”
His sister, who actually works in law enforcement seemed to take issue with his story going viral.
“Why put his information all over the internet where people are putting all sorts of threats next to his pictures. Something like that could lead to suicide.”
The family hasn’t spoken with him since he was taken into custody.
Do you agree with this mom for leaving her child in jail for disobeying quarantine orders?
