90’s actress Maia Campbell was reportedly among 44 others that were arrested in Atlanta over the weekend. The arrest was due to a recent crackdown on illegal street racing. No details about Maia Campbell’s exact involvement in the street racing bust have been revealed, however many people were shocked to see what she looked like in this recent mugshot.
Maia is best known for her role as Nicole on the 1994 FOX comedy-drama series South Central and her portrayal of Tiffany Warren in the NBC/UPN sitcom In the House for three seasons (1995–1998).

She reportedly was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, something she hid from the public during her career. After the birth of her daughter, Maia Campbell, reportedly stopped treatment for her bipolar disorder, became addicted to drugs and according to reports was arrested multiple times for car theft, drug possession and prostitution.

The last huge story on Maia Campbell was back in 2017 where she allegedly was seen at a gas station looking unkept, disheveled, wearing a bra and underwear. At one point in the viral clip she reportedly asked for crack and drugs.

When Maia’s former costar LL Cool J saw the disturbing clip, he vowed to help her. However, Maia sent a video responding to LL Cool J saying that she didn’t need his help,
“Hey Todd. Well, I love you. I don’t need help. I need a benefit concert for mental health. Don’t TMZ me. It’s really me. This is, Darryl [referencing to the man filming the video]. And this is the shop that we temp at. We’re good. I’m doing property. I have investments. And my show is called, ‘From The Bottom Up’ season 2.”

Maia allegedly said that she didn’t want the rapper to call her. LL Cool J then responded on twitter with the following tweet,

Maia Campbell is not very active on her social media pages. The last time she posted on Instagram was on November 26, 2018 where she posted a birthday message to herself.

The last post she made on her twitter page was when she retweeted a happy birthday message in November from BET’s twitter page.
