Tamar Braxton And Ex-Husband, Vincent Herbert Send Son To Counseling Amid Divorce

It’s been 3 years since Tamar Braxton filed for divorce from her then-husband, Vincent Herbert.  The pair, who were first long-time friends, tied the knot in 2008 and allowed much of their relationship to be broadcast on WeTV’sBraxton Family Values” in addition to their own spinoff show, WeTV’sTamar & Vince“.

Although the two had a rocky ending in their marriage, according to Tamar Braxton, things are in a really good place between them, particularly with their son, LoganTamar Braxton recently shared that finding the new dynamic with Vincent Herbert after a 7-year marriage was hard, but she says,

“We realized it’s not about us. It’s not about our feelings. It’s not about what happened. It’s about Logan, and it’s about us setting the best example for him and being there for him. So, that’s the choice we made. You have to make that choice, though.”

Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert put Logan into counseling after their breakup and admits that she wishes she had the same amidst her parents’ divorce.  She shares that it was the counselor that pushed for the two of them to evaluate their relationship.

Tamar states,

“The counselor was like, ‘You guys might want to get along for your kid,’ and then that is when we made the decision, it’s about him and not about us.”

Tamar also adds that,

“it took a little while, especially, you know, with [my boyfriend, David Adefeso], in the mix of things. But we’re in a really, really good place.”

Last year, the Braxton family and Vincent were captured coming together to celebrate Logan’s kindergarten graduation.

It’s really good to see the entire family work things out for Logan’s well-being.  Are you happy for Tamar and Vincent?  Let us know in the comments below!
