On April 30, she posted the announcement via social media with a series of hashtags stating,
“Hello Everyone,
My husband and I have made the hard decision of ending our marriage. After much prayer, I feel this is the right path for both of us. I wish him nothing but the best. Thank you everyone for your support and respecting our privacy during this difficult time.”

Stacey Dash took to her Instagram account to announce her separation from Jeffrey Marty roughly six months after she was arrested on domestic battery charges, but was soon after cleared after the State Attorney declined to press charges against the actress-turned political correspondent.
Stacey Dash’s husband, Jeffrey Marty tweeted on Oct 3., seemingly happy that she was not charged.
“Today, the State Attorney made the right call by declining to file charges against my wife, @staceydash. She was arrested over my objection at the time, but due to the pending investigation, I waited to comment until now. We both look forward to getting this behind us.”

Shortly after the announcement that she was separating from her husband, Dash posted messages about reflecting on her past and following God’s plan.
“When I spend time reflecting on my past, I see how many challenges I’ve faced. I see how every choice I made changed me and how drastically different I am from who I was 10 or 20 years ago. Now, as I chose to let go and follow God’s plan, I am looking forward to my future.”
Sending our best wishes to Stacey Dash and Jeffrey Marty in their future, separate journeys.
