Reginae Carter Tweets ‘I’m Black & Beautiful’ After Lil Wayne’s Controversial Comments About Black Women

Reginae Carter is never shy about speaking her mind. Recently, the up-and-coming actress took to Twitter to address comments her famous rap father Lil Wayne and rapper 50 Cent made about black women. During the latest episode of Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio Show, 45-year-old 50 Cent went said, 

“[Black women] get mad. They get angry. You see a lot of sisters they go ‘you f*** with this kind of girl and that king of girl?’ That s*** is exotic! That s*** look a lot different than the s*** you see in the neighborhood all of the time. That s*** look like it came off a boat. …It feels like something you can’t just get. In some kind of ways it’s interesting. But they get angry. ‘How did you end up with this mother****?”

Lil Wayne seemed to agree with 50 Cent’s comments as he laughed along and responded, 

“They get real angry”

Many people took to Twitter to express their disappointment in what was said. 

Reginae Carter also took to Twitter and appeared to share her own thoughts. The 21-year-old wrote, 

“I’m black ! I’m beautiful ! I’m enough ! I’m exotic ! I’m amazing ! I’m one of a mf kind !!!! Now where my black beautiful Queens at?”
