Cardi B Reacts To Backlash For Using A Racial Slur: We Don’t Use That As An Insult! I’m Sick Of The Internet!

Rapper Cardi B is currently under fire again. This time, for using a racial slur when describing her daughter’s eyes as “chinky.”

In a now-deleted post, Cardi B posted 3 photos to her Instagram with a mashup of her, and Migos rapper Offset, showing what their daughter Kulture would look like all grown up with features of both of her parents.

She wrote,

“Sooo this how KK finna look ? I love it.”

One of the rapper’s fans asked her how does Kulture look so much like Cardi B’s sister Hennessy and Offset.

Hennessy Carolina

She then replied,

“I think cause Hennessy got chinky eyes like offset and so KK . Its the only think I could think off”

After Cardi B caught backlash and criticism for her comment, she took to Twitter, saying that she is sick of the internet and wasn’t trying to use the word as a slur.

“I didn’t know that chinky eyes was a slur like wtffff I DONT KNOW F***** EVERYTHING !! We don’t even use that as an insult and I didn’t use it as an insult . Im sick of the internet.”

Some Twitter users have been trying school those who may not have known that the use of the word “chinky” was a racial slur.

This all comes on the heels of Cardi B, being accused of being homophobic and transphobic last month.  She recently took to Twitter to respond to the allegations from a social media user, firing off a series of tweets defending herself.  In one tweet she exclaims,

“How the fuvk am i homophobic or transphobic? have you been to a carribean island where you really see homophobia!  Have you dealt with a parent that can’t accept you for your sexuality? i said some ignorant things b4 that apologized for & educated myself on it don’t mean I’m homo..”
