Rick Ross Defends August Alsina, Says He Should Name Next Album ‘Entanglement’

Singer August Alsina has been the center of plenty of recent controversies.

Now, Maybach Music Group CEO, Rick Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts II), is coming to his defense amidst his ongoing drama with Jada Pinkett-Smith, 48, and her husband Will Smith, 51. The 44-year-old rapper took to social media to advocate for August Alsina being a talented singer.

“Don’t let this sh!t get it f*cked up. That boy August got real talent. That n!gg@ can really sing, now. If that n!gg@ drop that album next month… entanglement, the album, coming soon. That b!tch a go!”

As previously mentioned August Alsina revealed that he had a romantic relationship with Jada Pinkett-Smith, which he alleged was approved by Will Smith. After his announcement, Jada Pinkett Smith took to social media to state that she would be bringing herself to her “Red Table Talk” show, writing

“There’s some healing that needs to happen…”

When Jada appeared on the show with Will Smith, she admitted that she was in an “entanglement” with August. She also noted that she and Will were separated at the time, due to challenges in their marriage.

She stated:

“I got into a different kind of entanglement with August. One thing I want to clean up… about you giving ‘permission’ which is… the only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself”.

She continued:

“But what August was probably trying to communicate because I could see how he could see it as permission because we were separated amicably, and I think he wanted to make it clear he’s not a homewrecker because he’s not.”

When asked by her husband to clarify the meaning of entanglement, Jada replied:

“Yes, it was a relationship absolutely.”
