‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Star Candiace Dillard Is ‘Still Confused’ About What Started Fight W/ Monique Samuels: I Don’t Know What I Did To This Person

While the epic fight between “The Real Housewives of Potomac” friends turned enemies Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels was taped almost a year ago, the incident aired on the Bravo series Sunday (Sept. 27th), and is still making waves.

Candiace Dillard made a virtual stop by The Wendy Williams Show Monday (Sept. 28th) and said she’s still not sure why things got physical between them.

She told the daytime talk show host:

“We’re almost a year removed from the incident, and I’m still confused. I still don’t know what exactly I did to this person that would cause her to think that…”

Wendy Williams then referenced Monique Samuels’ previous claims she made on Instagram Live that Candiace Dillard was part of spreading a rumor that Monique Samuels cheated on her husband.

Candiace Dillard responded:

“Did I do that? Did I? That’s what you saw because certain individuals are very good at what’s called ‘the spin.’ If she had asked me, which she never had a conversation with me about these rumors that she heard, she would’ve gotten clarity on the fact that I was never a part of a spin, a spreading, a plot, that was never anything that I was a part of. The fact that she’s now using that to justify what she did, it’s poppycock.”

She added:

“If you pay attention to the season, she never actually brings up these rumors and this plotting during this season. It only comes out and becomes an issue after we’ve wrapped filming because she was looking for any reason to try and justify physically attacking another black woman on national television.”

Monique Samuels hasn’t responded to Candiace’s latest comments. But after the fight aired she denied that she was the aggressor and said that she was first hit with a glass before she got physical.
