Dwight Howard Accidentally Shares Private Text Messages On IG Live, Royce Reed Blasts Him For Allegedly Neglecting Their Son
Amid all of the excitement and celebration of the L.A. Lakers ’17th championship on Oct. 11, the players reacted in different ways. But Dwight Howard’s actions were arguably more memorable than most. The NBA champ accidentally shared text messages on an Instagram live for all to see.

In a livestream complete with more than 47,000 people present, a text thread between Dwight Howard and someone nicknamed “My heartbeat” was uploaded in a shared screen on IG. Online chatter began to circulate about who the famed athlete was engaged with on the text and many speculate that it could be his rumored fiancé Te’a Cooper, who he claimed to be engaged to last year.

What was meant to be a celebratory moment, turned into a moment of venting for former “Basketball Wives” member Royce Reed, who has a son with Dwight Howard. She posted several cryptic messages that were telling enough to point directly at her son’s father.

She took things a step further and accused him allegedly neglecting their son, especially after the NBA star won the coveted game.

She added,

Royce Reed and Dwight have had a tumultuous relationship spanning over the years and things seemingly haven’t settled between the two but according to Royce, it’s more so affecting their son, Braylon.

For now though, it still looks as though things may be on the up and up with Dwight and Te’a Cooper as she posted multiple photos in her IG stories live from the Laker championship game.
