DaBaby Breaks Silence On His Brother’s Suicide: I Would’ve Gave Up All I Had To See You Happy
Update #2 (Nov. 4th): DaBaby has broken his silence on the tragic passing of his brother, Glen Johnson.
He shared lyrics from his song “Intro” where he raps:
“My brother be thinkin’ that we don’t love him and let him struggle like we ain’t family… Like I won’t give up all I got to see you happy, n***a…”
He added on his Instagram story:
“I would’ve gave up all I had to see you happy n***a”

He also urged fans to check on people in their lives on his Instagram stories.

Original Story (Nov. 3rd): Very sad news. DaBaby’s older brother – Glen Johnson – has reportedly died. According to reports he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is said to have posted an emotional video crying and stating how he had been wronged. Not long after posting the video, he allegedly took his life. He is survived by 3 daughters and a son. Da Baby has yet to speak publicly about his brother’s passing. We send our condolences to his family and friends.
