Man That Kidnapped Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Been Sentenced
The man who kidnapped rapper Tekaashi 6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernandez), 24, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison.
Anthony “Harv” Ellison, 33, who is a member of the gang Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, was also charged with slashing someone and was convicted of kidnapping, racketeering, and a violent assault with a dangerous weapon on Wednesday, November 4th.

Tekaashi 6ix9ine experienced the majority of his fame in late 2017 which was when he gained popularity as a Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. After connecting with the gang and giving them cash, they soon ran into disputes over finances, which was what led up to the kidnapping.
According to reports and testimony by Tekaashi 6ix9ine, Ellison along with other armed men kidnapped the rapper via gunpoint at Atlantic Ave. and Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn. The kidnappers then drove him around in a vehicle and also robbed him of $100,000 worth of jewelry including four diamond rings and a $95,000 My Little Pony necklace.

6ix9ine served two years in jail for racketeering along with other offenses. Ellison will also face five years of supervised release.
