Naya Rivera Ex-Husband Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit On Behalf Of Their Son
The ex husband of actress Naya Rivera is attempting to seek what he feels is justice due to her untimely drowning death.

Ryan Dorsey filed a wrongful death lawsuit on Tuesday November 17th on behalf of his five-year- old son Josey Hollis Dorsey.
In the lawsuit Ryan Dorsey alleges the people that run Lake Piru did not warn visitors about the possible dangers of the lake nor did they fit the boat with proper safety protocols such as flotation equipment, a ladder rope or anchor.
On July 8th while out on a boating trip with her son actress Naya Rivera drowned. Her body was found on November 13th in the lake.
The suit includes that there were no signs warning of hazardous conditions such as strong currents and high winds.

According to the claim, Dorsey alleges the boat drifted away when Rivera and her son went swimming, something that wouldn’t have happened if there were more equipment available.
The suit also details 26 people have drowned in the lake since it’s opening. Before Rivera drowned, there was a petition filed against the lake requesting more warning signs be listed.
