Chris Bosh is getting some things off of his chest. The former NBA player recently shared how he learned that LeBron James was leaving the Miami Heat back in 2014. According to Chris Bosh, LeBron James informed him that he was leaving the team
“through a text.”
Chris Bosh also shared that he didn’t believe his former teammate at first and thought he was just joking around.
“I thought he was BSing, and then about 10 minutes later it’s everywhere.”
He added that he wasn’t happy about the news.
“I took offense to it, to be honest with you, at first. I was only thinking of how I felt about it.”
Chris Bosh, LeBron James, and Dwayne Wade were famously known as the ‘big three’ during their time together as players for Miami Heat. Chris Bosh shared that before he found out that LeBron James was leaving the team he was making plans for their upcoming season after their loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals.
“At the time, in my mind, I was ready to put the team together because we had just lost. So we wanted to put something together so we could win. And it really didn’t go like that.”
He added that it took him months to get over LeBron James leaving to go play for the Cleveland Cavaliers
“It still worked out for everybody. But I was upset. It took some time to get over it. It took months to get over it.
