Cardi B Apologizes For Offending Fans After Hosting Family Gathering For Thanksgiving, Says She & Her Team Get Tested For COVID-19, 4 Times A Week
Rapper Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzarshared, detailed her first Thanksgiving at her home this year in a recent post, and she ended up apologizing in case the gathering offended anyone.
It all began after she posted about the amount of people she had at her house for Thanksgiving. She wrote,
“12kids and 25 adults over the holidays. It was lit!!”

A fan (in a now deleted tweet) then asked the rapper why she took the time to specify how many people she had at her house when there are people who were not able to be with their families this year, due to the pandemic. The fan wrote,
“So what actually was the purpose of specifying the amount of people at your gathering…Knowing that a lot of people couldn’t even be with their families. All you could’ve said was you had a good holiday with your people…and I’m not even one to troll, but read the room.”
Cardi B replied apologizing to the fan, and shared how good it felt to host Thanksgiving in her home for the first time.
“Sorry my bad wasn’t trying to make nobody feel bad. I just had my family in my home for the first time and it felt so good & uplifted me.”
She added that she spent a lot of money to make sure everyone was tested before attending the gathering.
“I spent soo much money getting every1 tested but it felt worth it.I wasn’t trying to offend no1.”

She replied to another fan, who was happy that the rapper has been getting tested. She let her fans know that her, and her team get tested everyday they come to work, which is 4 times a week. She wrote,
“ME specially and everyone that works around me get tested literally 4 times a week. Im In the middle of work and Everytime we clock in we MUST GET TESTED!”
