Rapper Xzibit’s Wife Files For Divorce

The wife of rapper Xzibit has taken the step to end their marriage.

Krista Joiner filed for divorce from the Pimp My Ride star in the Los Angeles Superior Court Monday, Feb. 22nd.

The two were married for a little more than six years after tying the knot in November 2014. Xzibit (real name Alvin Nathaniel Joiner) was infamously arrested for a DUI the day of their wedding.

They first started dating in 2011 and share two children – son Xavier, who tragically died just 11 days after being born premature in May 2008, and son Gatlyn, 10.

Krista Joiner’s filing comes as Xzibit supported Dr. Dre during his own divorce.

As previously reported, Dr. Dre’s estranged wife Nicole Young filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage last year.

Xzibit shared a photo of them together in September with the caption,

“@drdre has done so much for so many. I will always have the upmost [sic] respect for him. He has changed lives and made dynasties. We all we got. F— all the dumb s—. That’s it that’s all. XZ”
