Janet Jackson Participating In Four-Hour Doc For Lifetime And A&E
An authorized Janet Jackson documentary is in the works. The docu, which will air in 2022, will highlight her life and career, while celebrating the 40th anniversary year of her debut album.
The singer will serve as an executive producer on the two-part, four-hour project.
The docu is tentatively titled Janet and it will find her addressing her famous family, including the deaths of brother Michael and father Joseph, her late-in-life motherhood and, perhaps most notably, 2004 Super Bowl appearance with Justin Timberlake.
According to reports, Producers Workerbee have been filming the feature for three years. Randy Jackson (no relation) will also serve as executive producer.
