EXCLUSIVE: BET’s Anticipated Project ‘Favorite Son’, Directed By Robin Givens, Will Allegedly Premiere This Year!
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that BET and BET+ anticipated project, Favorite Son, will allegedly premiere later on this year. According to our sources, the must-watch TV Movie is being produced by Swirl Films and directed by Robin Givens. Givens has participated in numerous hit projects within her own acting career including most recently having led the OWN series Ambitions in 2020, and recurring roles on Riverdale, and Saints and Sinners.

Earlier this year Robin Givens, 56, shared an appreciation post on Instagram towards the cast of Favorite Son.

Rotimi, and gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds lead the cast of Favorite Son opposite Empire’s Serayah and actress Loren Lott.

Favorite Son will have a star-packed cast which allegedly includes songstress Keke Wyatt, Christian singer/songwriter Anthony Evans, actress Lisa Arrindell, actor E. Roger Mitchell, and actor/TV personality Anton Peeples.

Favorite Son will allegedly center around two adult twin brothers who were raised in the church (played by Jonathan McReynolds and Rotimi) and the drama that unfolds between them, their family, and other members of the congregation.
