Kylie Jenner Faces Backlash Asking Fans To Pay For Stylist’s Surgery After Donating 5k

Kylie Jenner is facing backlash after asking some of her social media followers to donate to a crowdfunder to pay for her make up artist’s emergency surgery. The reality star and billionaire also noted that she donated $5,000 herself.

Over the weekend, Kylie Jenner took to Instagram Live to ask her followers to help raise $60,000 for Samuel Rauda’s treatment.

She writes,

“May God watch over you and protect you @makeupbysamuel. Everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend. And swipe up to visit his families’ GoFundMe.”

According to reports, the 26-year-old makeup artist was seriously injured in a road traffic accident and underwent major surgery on 14 March. His family has since set up in a bid to cover the cost of his medical expenses.
