Joie Chavis Says She’s Not A Gold Digger After Having Children W/ Future & Bow Wow: I Don’t Get Any Child Support

Joie Chavis is setting the record straight on speculation that she’s a “gold digger” after having two children by famous men.

She shares daughter Shai Moss, 9, with rapper and actor Bow Wow, and son Hendrix Wilburn, 2, with rapper Future.

In a video she posted on YouTube, she addressed assumptions about her, including one that she’s a gold digger as one fan asked,

“Who else would get pregnant by two different celebrities?”

She clarified,

“I feel like a lot of people say that…I’m not a gold digger… If that’s the case, I’d date everybody that tries to talk to me with money. I’m not a gold digger.”

She added that she doesn’t get any child support from the rappers.

“I’ve worked since I was 15. I take care of my kids, I don’t get any child support. Repeat that, I don’t get any child support. I don’t really need to ask for certain things for my kids ’cause I can do everything myself. If their father wants to do things for them, and then they do that on their own time.

If they want to, you know, [say] ‘hey here’s money for this or that’, or whatever – but I don’t really ask for anything. I’m able to do everything on my own. Just wanted to make sure that I said that.”
