Adrienne Bailon Doesn’t See An Issue W/ Porsha Williams’ Engagement To ‘RHOA’ Co-Star’s Estranged Husband: Porsha & Falynn Aren’t Friends
RHOA star Porsha Williams and her recent engagement news have set the internet ablaze. Dozens of fans are scratching their heads trying to make heads or tails of this salacious situation. If by chance you haven’t heard the tea, here’s a brief recap. Porsha Williams is now engaged to castmate Falynn Guobadia’s estranged husband Simon Guobadia. Falynn Guobadia previously alleged she was brought on RHOA, by way of Porsha Williams, to be a friend of the show for season 13.

The ladies of The Real discussed the controversy on their daytime talk show. As everyone weighed in on the topic, Adrienne Bailon didn’t appear to see an issue with the particulars surrounding the engagement.
Adrienne Bailon said:
“This is my take on the whole situation: if Falynn doesn’t have a problem with it, why should we? If Falynn has moved on, his ex-wife has moved on, and she’s doing her thing, then let’s move on.”
The panel then debated about whether there’s an actual friendship between Porsha Williams and Falynn Guobadia to determine if ‘girl code’ had been broken.
Actress, co-host and star of RHOBH Garcelle Beauvais, displayed reluctance in her acceptance of Porsha’s relationship with Simon Guobadia, implying there may be some inauthenticity for the sake of a story line.
“A month you guys, a month. First of all, he’s recently divorced, and there hasn’t even been enough time to reflect to see what did I do wrong, what did she do wrong, and now all of a sudden we’re engaged. Sounds to me like it’s a story line for next season.”
In the segment, Loni Love later poses the question to Adrienne Bailon:
“Let’s be real though, if your coworker married Israel [Adrienne Bailon’s husband] in a month, I mean c’mon.”
Adrienne Bailon retorted:
“Here’s the difference, Porsha Williams said her and Falynn are not friends. Y’all are my friends and I’ve lived life with you people. There’s a difference. They might have shot some scenes together, but that doesn’t mean they’re friends.”
