Kim Kardashian Denies Ever Hooking Up With Kourtney Kardashian’s Boyfriend Travis Barker: We’ve Been Friends For Years

Kim Kardashian is denying all allegations that she and Travis Barker were intimate with each other.

Yesterday, the reality star-turned-businesswoman held a Q&A on her Instagram, giving fans the opportunity to learn more about her. One person sent in a question regarding the rumors that Kim Kardashian was once romantic with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who is dating Kourtney Kardashian.

In response to the straight-forward question, Kim Kardashian called the rumors a “false narrative.” She wrote:

“NO! False narrative! We’ve been friends for years and I’m so happy for him and Kourt.”

The rumor is attributed to Travis Barker‘s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. On May 18th, Shanna Moakler told Us Weekly that she and the whole Kardashian family don’t get along because she caught Travis and Kim in an intimate moment. The alleged incident went down in the mid-2000s, before Shanna and Travis’ 2008 divorce. She told the outlet:

“I divorced my ex because, I saw them — I caught [Travis and Kim] having an affair.”

Shanna also brought up the way Travis Barker spoke about Kim Kardashian in his memoir to help fuel her allegations. Back in 2015, Travis reflected on how his friendship with Kim started, writing:

“I kept on secretly checking out Kim… she’s f**king hot. We went to dinner, we went to lunch. You might think I would be doing the worst things with this girl because of her tapes, but it was the exact opposite of any other encounter I’ve had with a woman: with Kim, I wanted to be nothing but a gentleman to her. It was so weird.”

Although Travis claims he was never intimate with Kim, his ex-wife claims he is lying, saying:

“Someone sent me all their [text] conversations and I’m also close friends with people who were there, while things were happening.”

Kim Kardashian‘s Q&A was the first time the star publicly acknowledged the allegations. Neither Travis Barker nor Kourtney Kardashian have publicly commented on the matter.
