Young Thug Gives Housekeeper A Shoutout For Returning $10,000 She Found In His Jeans, Claims It Was Returned Because He’s Solid & Real

Was Young Thug rewarded with good karma, or was an employee just being honest and trustworthy?

Yesterday, Young Thug (real name Jeffery Williams) uploaded a video to his Instagram story to shout out his housekeeper for not keeping the $10,000 she found. Showing off a stack of $100s and $50s, Thugger claimed:

“My maid just hand[ed] me this. She said ‘I found this money about two months ago in your room. I just wanna know [if you got] it.’ I said nah, where you find it?’ ‘In your jeans.’ I said, ‘Where you put it?’ ‘Under your bed'”

Switching the camera to show himself in the mirror, Young Thug claimed the cash was returned because he’s “a good n***a.” He said:

“This is when you a good n***a, bro. When you 1,000, you solid. The s**t come right back. This lil punk a** $10,000–that ain’t nothin, $10,000–but solid. Real n***a, bro.”

After making his upload, various people online began to say that–if the money was really just a “lil punk a** $10,000”–he should have allowed his maid to keep it for her honesty. However, judging by his upload, it looks like he kept his money!

His video comes about two months following Thugger partnering with Gunna to bond out 30 low-level offenders in Atlanta. After discovering that many of the inmates in Fulton County Jail were unable to bail themselves out, the rappers stepped in to help out. Young Thug said:

“This is where we are from. We just woke up and went to the jail with the lawyer and you know DA’s and the prosecutors, you know, the bonding companies and just got as many people as we can out.”
