Young M.A Checks Herself Into Rehab For Unknown Addiction After Previously Denying Drug Abuse

Young M.A is taking the necessary steps needed to help make herself a better person. Recently Young M.A, born Katorah Marrero, revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post that she was checking herself into rehab. The 29-year-old rapper didn’t share what substance she was struggling with. However, in the caption of the removed post, she did say she was going to lose the addiction. She wrote,

“Bouta lose this addiction…omw to rehab.”

Young M.A also shared a prayer on Twitter asking for comfort in her suffering. She wrote,

“Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you.”

 

As previously reported, In 2019, while on IG live, Young M.A adamantly denied that she had ever engaged in the use of illicit drugs. After a fan accused her of doing hard drugs she replied,

“Yo, y’all be sayin’ some crazy sh*t. Don’t say no sh*t like that on my Live, bro. Talkin’ ’bout sniffing coke off – what is this? Somebody said, ‘Sniffin’ glue – sniff coke off your strap.’ Y’all crazy, bro? For real? Like, come on son. Don’t talk like that, bro, on my Live, man. I don’t got people like that. You know what I’m sayin’?”

She continued,

“That coke sh*t? I don’t do that. I don’t pop no pills, I don’t sniff no coke, nothing, bro. The most I do – I drink and smoke some weed. Y’all n*ggas wildin’ with that sh*t. That sh*t ain’t even cute. For real.”

She added,

“I need my supporters to understand that, bro. I don’t rock with that. That poppin’ perc, poppin’ mollies, poppin’ xans and sh*t like that? That sh*t ain’t cute, bro. I don’t do that!”
