Jennifer Lopez Dodges Questions About Ben Affleck Romance [WATCH]

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s reunion has been a topic of conversation since they were first seen together in April. But it doesn’t look like Jennifer Lopez will be contributing to the chatter.

As previously reported, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck sparked rumors they were back together after being spotted on vacation together earlier this year. While they’ve remained quiet on the rumors, they’ve since been seen kissing and spending more time together, only fueling speculation that they’re an item again.

Still, Jennifer Lopez has yet to confirm reports herself.

While on TODAY Tuesday morning (July 20th), host Hoda Kotb told the Hustlers actress,

“‘You look happier. Look, I just have to tell you, every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like, ‘She looks happier, she looks happier.’ Are we happier?”

J. Lo played coy about the Ben Affleck reference and responded,

“I’m always happy when I see you Hoda.”

Hoda Kotb replied,

“Wait, it’s me you’re talking to, you know that.”

Lopez suggested she wanted to talk to Hoda Kotb off the record and said,

‘I know. You can call me. You have my number!’

Lopez might have been quiet about rumors, but an insider said her relationship with Ben Affleck is getting pretty serious.

They told PEOPLE,

“They want to do everything they can to make it work.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck first dated in July 2002 and he proposed that November. They were scheduled to tie the knot in September 2003 but called it off just days before. They broke up the following January.

The insider continued,

“Even though their split [was] many years ago was devastating for Jennifer, she has never had a bad word to say about Ben. She believes that it just wasn’t meant to be then and feels like they’ve been given a second chance.”
