Michael Che Says He Wants To Make Jokes About Simone Biles, Rates Jokes About Gymnast He Received From Fans + Later Claims He Was Hacked

Was Michael Che really hacked when he appeared to encourage his followers to make jokes about Simone Biles?

Yesterday (Thursday, July 29th), comedian Michael Che took to Instagram and proclaimed he was in the mood for some Simone Biles jokes. As previously reported, Simone Biles withdrew from this year’s final gymnastics competition at the Tokyo Olympics for mental health reasons. The public response to this decision has been mixed, though she has received a large amount of support.

However, it appears as though Michael Che wanted to hear whatever jokes his followers may have about the situation. The comedian took to his Instagram story and initially wrote:

“Man, I wanna make fun of Simone Biles.”

Then, Michael Che proceeded to share various responses he received. It appears as though he mainly intended to comment on and rate his followers’ jokes about Simone Biles, who is commonly referred to as “The GOAT” (greatest of all time).

Shortly after his series of reposts to his story, Michael Che proceeded to upload an Instagram post regarding the matter. He claimed to have been hacked, writing:

“Maaannnn, I got hacked today. Can’t believe they got me. Y’all kno I only do jokes about whites and cops. S’all good now, I changed my password and everything… Anyway, y’all hear about DaBaby tho..? That’s crazy.. Iight. See y’all at church. Imma get there early.”

However, it is unclear whether the comedian was being genuine about being hacked.

Michael Che also began trending on Twitter shortly after his posts and received a large amount of backlash. He later deleted everything regarding the matter from his account and Instagram story.
