Lizzo has revealed she lives a life free of deodorant, and she claims she smells better as a result!

Yesterday (Thursday, Aug. 19th), Lizzo jumped on the trend of celebrities speaking on their unique grooming and bathing habits. As you may recall, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher kicked off the conversation when they explained they only bathe their kids when they’re visibly dirty. Then, celebrities like Jake Gyllenhall and Coco Austin revealed they similarly do not shower daily.

In similar fashion, actor Matthew McConaughey revealed he has not used deodorant for multiple decades. However, Matthew McConaughey and his former costars have claimed he does not have body odor, despite not wearing deodorant.

Matthew McConaughey‘s confession is actually how Lizzo became involved in the conversation. The “Rumors” singer proceeded to agree with Matthew McConaughey‘s statements on her Instagram Story. Lizzo wrote:

“Ok… I’m w him on this one.. I stopped using deodorant and I smell BETTER.”

However, not every celebrity is on board with irregular cleaning and grooming habits. After the trend began, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed he actually showers three times every single day, calling himself “the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb'” on Twitter.
