‘The Talk’ Loses Another Host As Carrie Ann Inaba Announces Departure, Says It Was A ‘Mutual’ Decision

The Talk is continuing to shake up their co-hosts.

Over the weekend, reports circulated that Carrie Ann Inaba was leaving The Talk after a four-month hiatus. Carrie Ann Inaba joined the daytime talk show back in 2018, filling Julie Chen Moonves‘ spot. Regarding her departure from The TalkCarrie Ann Inaba stated that she and the show

“have mutually agreed to part ways.”

She added,

“And I just wanna say that I’m filled with gratitude for the experience and this chapter of my life that has been The Talk. I have made lifelong friendships, I have had incredible experiences, and I’ve had wonderful discussions that helped me evolve as a human being. And it’s been an honor to be a part of your lives and have a voice.”

It is currently unclear who will replace Carrie Ann Inaba on the series. However, there is some speculation that CBS is looking to replace her with a male co-host.

Inaba‘s departure from The Talk comes shortly after Jerry O’Connell was brought on to replace Sharon Osbourne. The decision came in the aftermath of Sharon Osbourne‘s racism controversy, and Jerry O’Connell is now the first full-time male co-host on the series. During his introduction, Jerry O’Connell stated:

“I’ve never done this on like a real, permanent basis. I’ve done it temporarily here and there. But I like to have a good time. The world is a crazy place. It’s scary and it’s been really scary. I, like everyone else, have been cooped up. This is the first time I haven’t been in underwear in a year and a half. I am so excited to share that with you, ladies, and also with everybody watching. We’re going to have a good time.”
