Bobby Shmurda Tries To Fight Fan Who Threw A Water Bottle At Him During Made In America Festival
Bobby Shmurda almost got physical with a fan at a recent music festival!
Bobby Shmurda (real name Ackquille Jean Pollard) performed at the Made in America music festival in Philadelphia this past weekend. While his set wasn’t scheduled until Sunday (Sept. 5th), he made several appearances throughout Saturday’s (Sept. 4th) performances.

However, Bobby Shmurda almost got into a physical altercation while enjoying the festival. During Megan Thee Stallion‘s set, a festivalgoer reportedly hurled a water bottle at Bobby Shmurda. The rapper, in response, attempted to climb past the stage barricade to confront the alleged water bottle thrower. However, security was able to intercept Bobby Shmurda and prevent the situation from escalating.
This incident comes about six months after Bobby Shmurda was released from prison. The rapper was arrested in 2014 for conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment. He ultimately pled guilty in 2016 and served another five years behind bars. Shortly after his release, Bobby Shmurda shared he had “mixed emotions.”
“Honestly, it’s mixed emotions. Some days is work, and some days it’s like, ‘Yo, I’m home.’ You know when you can’t believe you’re home? I done came home before but this time it was like, I’m home. You know what I’m saying? I’m home.”
He continued:
“When you come home, you gotta see everything and what’s what. What’s this? What’s that? That’s what’s really been going on. I’m trying to see what’s this and what’s that before you move cause being in jail just made me smarter. I used to move off a lot of impulse.”
