La La Anthony Opens Up About Buying A New Place After Filing For Divorce From Carmelo Anthony
It looks like La La Anthony is getting used to the single life.
The actress and TV personality, who filed for divorce from NBA star Carmelo Anthony in June, opened up about the new home she purchased for her and their son Kiyan, 14.
She said over the weekend,
“Yes, it’s a new place where Kiyan and I are loving and enjoying it. It has been really great.”
She added,
“It is expensive, but we live in New York. I’m used to it; I’m from New York, I know how it goes.”

La La, Carmelo, and son Kiyan
La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony tied the knot in July 2010.
They welcomed their son Kiyan on March 7, 2007.
The pair initially split in 2017 after 7 years of marriage amid rumors he cheated on her and had an alleged love child. It was rumored they reconciled by late 2018.
They also publicly celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary last year.
He shared a photo of La La Anthony with the caption,
“Real love is knowing your weaknesses and not taking advantage of them. Knowing your flaws and accepting who they are.

La La Anthony opened up about quarantining with her now-estranged husband during the nationwide lockdown last year.
“It’s actually been smooth sailing. And to see my son so happy, even in the midst of what’s going on in the world- to me is what’s important and what matters to me. I feel really great about that.”
