Chrissy Teigen Pens Heartfelt Open Message To Late Son Jack 1 Year After Losing Him: Mom And Dad Love You Forever

Chrissy Teigen is wearing her heart on her sleeve in her latest Instagram post as she reflects on losing her infant son last year. As previously reported, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend lost their 3rd child, Jack, following pregnancy complications last October. Chrissy Teigen shared the heartbreaking news via her IG page. In a vulnerable caption, she wrote,

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”

She added,

“To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”

Today, Sept. 29, Chrissy took to her Instagram page again and reflected on the anniversary of losing her and John Legend’s young son and the pain she still feels. She shared an image of herself and her husband crying in the hospital room following the loss of Jack. She captioned the post,

“and to the son we almost had. a year ago you gave me the greatest pain I could ever imagine to show me I could survive anything, even if I didn’t want to. I didn’t get to take care of you but you came and went to get me to love myself and take care of myself because our bodies are precious and life is a miracle. they told me it would get easier but yeah, that hasn’t started yet. mom and dad love you forever.”

This isn’t the only time that Chrissy has publicly spoken about Jack since his passing. In November of last year, the TV personality revealed that she got a tattoo of her son’s name on her wrist.

Continued prayers and thoughts for Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and their family.
