Barbara Corcoran Makes Joke Toward Whoopi Goldberg: When You Get Finished With Those Jeans Give Them To Me, I’m Going To Make Two Pair, Later Apologizes

Barbara Corcoran has found herself in deep water.

While visiting The View, things became awkward between the Whoopi Goldberg and Shark Tank judge, Barbara Corcoran. What started off as an innocent discussion about jeans, quickly took a turn when Barbara Corcoran, seemingly took a jab at Whopopi Goldberg.

In the clip Whoopi asks if the jeans would fit, referring to her butt. Her co-host Sunny Hostin assured her they would, with Ana Navarro co-signing.

Attempting to go along with the joke, Barbara Corcoran interjected saying,

“And when you get finished with those jeans, and decide you don’t like them, give them to me. I’m gonna make two pairs!”

Before Goldberg could respond Ava Navarro came to her defense. Pointing at Corcoran’s dress, she said,

“Whoopi, let me just tell you something,” Navarro said before remarking on Corcoran’s wardrobe choice for the day. “Both Sara Haines and Jill Biden wore that dress already, on TV.” 

Referring to Donald Trump Jr.’s tweet that criticized her weight, Navarro added,

“Donald Trump Jr. tried that on me. It didn’t work!”

Although many at the table laughed, Whoopi Goldberg appeared to be stunned, along with the audience members and fans, who immediately took to Twitter to react.

Barbara Corcoran later apologized saying,

“I just came back from ‘The View’ and saw my old friend Whoopi. As you all know, she has a phenomenal sense of humour and I’ve known Whoopi for years. I made a joke at Whoopi’s expense, which I now realize wasn’t funny. For anyone who I may have offended unintentionally, I just wanted to say I am very sorry.”

Whoopi Goldberg accepted her apology Friday (Oct. 8).
