Update #1 (Oct. 11): Tyga has turned himself in to authorities in response to his former girlfriend’s physical assault allegations against him.

Original Story: Tyga may have a new legal issue on his hands!
According to recent reports, Tyga has been accused of abusing his ex-girlfriend, Camaryn Swanson. The pair went public back in March, and it is unclear when exactly they split.
At about 3 a.m. yesterday (Monday, Oct. 11th), Camaryn Swanson allegedly showed up outside the “Rack City” rapper’s home and was shouting outside his front door. A source close to the situation maintains that Camaryn Swanson showed up on the premises after Tyga asked her not to. Tyga, who reportedly believed Camaryn was intoxicated, allegedly let her into his home so they could talk. However, the 22-year-old influencer claims Tyga, 31, physically assaulted her during their conversation. Camaryn Swanson then had her mother pick her up from the rapper’s home and called the police.

LAPD authorities noted that Camaryn had visible markings on her face, and they took a felony domestic violence report. The police also attempted to question Tyga, though he reportedly refused to speak to them yesterday (Monday, Oct. 11th). However, sources close to the rapper say he’ll tell his side of the story to authorities later today (Tuesday, Oct. 12th).

Shortly after the alleged incident made headlines, Camaryn Swanson uploaded a series of posts on the matter to her Instagram Story. She first posted a selfie that displayed her black eye, captioned:
“I’ve been emotionally, mentally, and physically abused and I’m not hiding it anymore.”

She then shared a text screenshot to dispel the allegation that she showed up at Tyga‘s house unannounced. The exchange shows her allegedly texting Tyga, and she suggests that he invited her over by calling her a car service. Under the screenshot, Camaryn wrote:
“I didn’t show up ‘screaming’ or uninvited. When I tried to leave he physically assaulted and refused to let me leave for hours.”

Camaryn Swanson proceeded to then upload a brief video where she again showed viewers her black eye, captioned:
“I’m so embarrassed and ashamed it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself.”

It is currently unclear whether Tyga will follow through with talking to the LAPD later today (Tuesday, Oct. 12th). He has not publicly acknowledged the accusation.
