Dwyane Wade’s Son, Zaire Wade, Signs Contract With Utah Jazz G League Affiliate Salt Lake City Stars
Zaire Wade will be taking his skills to the professional level with the NBA’s G League.
Yesterday (Tuesday, Oct. 12), the 6’2 and 175 pounds former high school prospect decided to forgo college and join the G League instead. He will be playing for the Salt Lake City Stars, an affiliate of the Utah Jazz, which his father Dwyane Wade became a minority owner of earlier this year.
After playing alongside Bronny James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, at Sierra Canyon, Zaire Wade reportedly turned down interest from college basketball programs at South Carolina, DePaul, Nebraska, Toledo, and Rhode Island.
Based out of California, the G League is a program designed to develop young players for the NBA.
