SWV’s Coko Clemons Passed Out While On Stage In Mexico: I Literally Got Weak In The Knees

It seems SWV group member, Coko Clemons gave her fans and ‘sisters’ quite the scare. In a new post, Coko, 51, revealed that she passed out while the group was on stage in Mexico.

Referencing their hit song, ‘Weak‘, on Instagram, Coko wrote,

“I’m so grateful for my sister on my left @tajgeorge and my sister @therealleleeswv on my right. I gave them quite a scare. I literally got weak in the knees and passed out in Mexico. But they helped me through it and we made it do what it do!!!” 

She continued,

“I love you ladies!! Thanks to my manager @thedanager for not panicking and bringing me back. Scary night but we all pulled through!!!! @ericewill@mykalcurtis@terrailmoody#SWV#sisterswithvoices #GodisGood#WontHeDoIt”

This is not the first time something tried to throw the group off their game. After fans questioned Coko’s attitude during their Verzuz battle against R&B group Xscape, the ‘Downtown‘ singer revealed a woman was shot outside her hotel the night before.

On the situation, she said,

“Last night as I am preparing for Verzuz a lady was shot outside my hotel window. To see & hear the four shots, see her laying on the ground and all the blood was unbelievable!!! Thennnn…I get to the venue and had a really bad anxiety attack! Literally crying & screaming. Yeah y’all saw me looking uncomfortable & irritated during the first half, but if it wasn’t for my son @jayyemichael @ynottamiya and @mrljb I probably wouldn’t have been out there at all.”
