Could the world see a merger between Quality Control Music and 300 Entertainment?

This past Saturday (Oct. 30th), Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas–who also goes by the nickname “P”–made an eyebrow-raising revelation through social media. Specifically, Pierre Thomas announced a prospective business venture on Twitter, writing:

“I Wanna Buy @300 My Bankers On Deck. Let’s Have The Conversation.”

For context, 300 Entertainment is a record label that spans various different genres, while Quality Control specializes in hip-hop acts. Current rappers who are signed to 300 Entertainment include stars like Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, and Fetty Wap. Meanwhile, Quality Control boasts noteworthy acts like City Girls, Lil Baby, and Lil Yachty.

Pierre Thomas‘ announcement came just days after reports began circulating that 300 Entreatment was exploring a $400 million sale. While the exact details of the matter remain unknown, it looks like the speculation was enough to pique Pierre‘s interest!

Representatives for 300 Entertainment do not appear to have publicly acknowledged the tweet, and Pierre Thomas has also not addressed the matter since his initial statement about wanting to buy the company.

This news comes about five months after Pierre turned 40. He celebrated the occasion with a star-studded party that was attended by various Quality Control acts.
