Rico Nasty Reacts To Getting Booed While Performing During Playboi Carti’s Tour: Anti-Black A** Crowd

Rico Nasty was booed on stage during a recent stop on Playboi Carti’s tour. 

Over the weekend (Nov. 6) Rico Nasty, 24, served as an opening act for fellow rapper Playboi Carti’s, 25, King Vamp Tour in Los Angeles. During her set things seemingly went south for Rico Nasty, born Maria-Cecilia Kelly, and, for reasons unknown, the crowd booed the ‘SIMP’ rapper.  Video footage has recently surfaced online of Rico Nasty reacting to the boos. While on stage she can be heard screaming into the mic, 

“This is what the f*ck we gon’ do for you disrespectful m*thaf*ckers out there. B*tch, we gon’ sit in m*thaf*ckin silence!”

She continues, 

“Don’t you f*cking play! What you think this is? It’s not that.” 

As the crowd repeatedly chants “Carti,” Rico Nasty adds, 

 “This is f*cking lame. He doesn’t even know you guys!”

Following the concert incident, Rico Nasty took to her Twitter and shared her frustration towards Playboi Carti’s fans. She Tweeted, 

She added, 

A fan of Playboi Carti, born Jordan Carter, responded to Rico Nasty’s tweets and said 

“We’re not anti-black, we just want to see Carti and Ken Car$on more than you [laughing face emoji]”

Rico Nasty replied, 

“those n*ggas would spit on u irl [laughing face emoji] it’s pathetic.”

Playboi Carti has yet to speak on the situation. However, a lot of people did come to Rico Nasty’s defense.
