As you may recall, Kendrick Lamar was announced as a performer for the upcoming Super Bowl alongside Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Eminem. After the news was released, many began speculating that Lamar had new music on the way.

The theory was further supported after unreleased music from the Compton rapper began circulating on social media and when the rapper updated his Spotify profile picture. It’s also worth noting that he registered several new songs with ASCAP(American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) back in September of this year.
