Wendy Williams’ Brother Says She Is Exploring ‘Some Different Ideas’ For Post-TV Projects

Wendy Williams’ Brother Says She Is Exploring ‘Some Different Ideas’ For Post-TV Projects + Claims He Isn’t Worried About Her Future Career Prospects
What could the future hold for Wendy Williams?
As previously reported, news recently broke that Wendy Williams will not return to her hit TV show, The Wendy Williams Show. This update came amid the 57-year-old’s months-long health struggle and hiatus.
As people continue to come to grips with the news, Wendy Williams‘ younger brother–Tommy Williams–is dishing about what post-TV life could look like for the New Jersey native. Regarding potential future projects, Tommy Williams initially said:
“We’ve talked about different things. She’s definitely kicked around some different ideas, all of which I know she’ll be successful with, but time will tell. I do believe that anything–post her career in television, if that were to be the case–would be involving youth and people who dream of doing something in the media.”
The 54-year-old added:
“She can show them some of the other ropes–not the regular ropes, but some of the other ropes– because Wendy knows a lot about those other ropes.”

Tommy Williams, who moved from New Jersey to Florida, went on to say that he’d enjoy the opportunity to see Wendy on a more regular basis now that she’s leaving television:
“I would love to have her down here as a neighbor or just have her come down more frequently. I do know that when once she’s on the other side of some of these things that she’s dealing with, there’s no question she’ll be here a lot more.”
He continued:
“To be honest with you, if she if she ever were to throw in the towel, great–so now we get more Wendy! We can get on with more memories, we can do some more stuff, you know?”
Tommy also revealed that he is not concerned about Wendy‘s post-TV prospects:
“It’s not a big deal, it’s not. I can’t think of a time when I was worried about Wendy in her career. I just can’t. She’s been through so much. I’ve been there with her through so much.”
