NBA Youngboy Explains Why He Enjoys Wearing Makeup: I Feel Comfortable That Way
Could NBA Youngboy be your next favorite MUA?
On December 6, NBA Youngboy, born Kentrell Gaulden, dropped the music video for his latest single “Black Ball.”
The ‘Bandit’ rapper seemingly had to get a little creative for his newest project as he is reportedly still under house arrest in Utah. The 3-minute-and-7-second video has a few scenes that showcase the 22-year-old rapper rocking what appears to be black eye shadow and lipstick with the phrase “f*ck peace” written under his eyes.

During a recent chat on Clubhouse with media personality Akademiks, 30, NBA Youngboy addressed his latest look and revealed that wearing makeup makes him feel comfortable. He said
“I like doing my face. I like painting my face or putting makeup on. Like, I don’t know…I like to look in the mirror and see everything black – like my eyes and sh*t.”
He continued,
“Yea that’s one hundred percent real. That’s me being myself. That’s me. I don’t know, I feel comfortable that way.”
NBA Youngboy then clarified that it wasn’t facepaint featured in the video, but instead actual makeup. He shared,
“That’s makeup. That’s some sh*t from MAC I made my engineer go buy.”
